Hi, I am Rynx. I also go by different names/pen names specially curated for the different things I work on and identities I go with. But this pen name covers it all (translation: I got a little lazy, lol).
I decided to create this blog, initially to dump my essays from way back that have been collecting digital dust somewhere in my (many) accounts. But then I thought: instead of just dumping them here, why not create a blog archive? And so, Rynx Archives was born.
I am many things: a long-time reflective writer, a fanfiction writer, a dedicated nico fan (I'm the project lead and co-founder!), and well, a simple person struggling in their 20s. Life's pretty tough out here, but writing has always been a reliable companion and medium in getting through these hurdles.
I used to write on Launchora, but I doubt many remember that platform now. I was there for about six (6) years and barely managed to find some of my lost files out there. At first, I thought it was such a huge bummer to lose them, but I think it's also better this way. I mean, I was only a young kid at the time with too much cringe to lie in the open. Kinda felt like Launchora going down did the dirty work for me in burying those things. I do sometimes regret not having copies of everything, though, as I found it amusing lately to look back on those lost works and see how much I've grown (or downgraded?) over the years.
So, yeah. Here lies the other side of me and aspects of my life, including how and what I wrote, both as a student and as an individual, across time.
